August, 2016 (Updated January, 2017: I purchased the book!)
My paper “Bitcoin mining acceleration and performance quantification” was cited in a chapter on Bitcoin mining in a standard graduate textbook on Secure protocols for electronic commerce! I noticed that previous editions of this textbook are currently being used in graduate level courses at universities from CMU to universities in Hong Kong! Judging by the number of used textbooks on sale, I’m guessing universities have already switched to the new one! I’m absolutely amazed and thankful to God that I actually got to see a result obtained in a solely authored publication of mine (authored at 22 years of age) being taught to students just 3 years after its publication.

My study of the possible effects of a botnet’s computing power on Bitcoin mining (and other new crypto currencies like Litecoin, in particular) was cited in a chapter about Bitcoin! Here’re some pictures of the citation from the book I bought, and the book on sale.
